Verification method
The evidence hierarchy is intentionally plain enough for readers to audit.
2. Corroborate local activity
Compare local press, public notices and clearly documented production activity. Separate the event date from the article date.
3. Preserve changes
When a casting, date or claim changes, mark the older item superseded and link the newer evidence rather than silently editing history.
Corrections policy
Corrections should identify the original wording, the corrected information, the supporting source and the date of the change. Material corrections belong on the affected page as well as in a correction log.
Source limitations
Local reports can establish that production activity happened without establishing what fictional scene was filmed. Paparazzi photographs can corroborate visible participants but do not justify publishing private schedules or information about children.

Originally announced: Nicholas Hoult. Updated 25 August 2026: Kit Harington was reported as the replacement. The superseded record is retained in casting updates.

What the dates mean
Announced is the date of a source announcement when captured. Source checked records our review date when the original publication date is not established. A month-only date stays month-only.
The original core ledger was reviewed on 27 August 2026. The added student records, season-two records, trailer and creative-team coverage were checked on 4 September 2026. A new page does not imply that every older location report has been rechecked.
Where an old source is unavailable, we retain its context and point readers to a current supporting record when one exists.

Corrected the season-one episode-count wording across the guide and machine-readable FAQ, added the Reader Companion and accessibility statement, made review dates readable without optional scripting, standardised primary navigation and removed unused heavyweight Cast image atlases from the published package.
The site’s original Lantern Duck is now used as the header mark and browser icon. This was a maintenance and identity release; it did not add speculative production claims or change the site’s evidence thresholds.
